Dr N. S. Sarap Stitching Training Programme Three Stitching training programmes were organized in the session 2017-18. In this programme 21 students participated. The fund of Rs. 1,00,000/- for training purpose was donated by ‘Shri Raj Rajeshwar Sansthan, Akola’ to Earn & Learn Scheme. From this fund three sewing machines were bought. The trained students had stitched the girl student’s uniforms of college. The girls had given 1/3rd of their earning. In average the students have earned Rs. 4000-7000/- within three months.
Abell Company’s Call Centre Job The college has organized a call centre programme in collaboration with Mr. Piyush Sakarkar, Director, Abell Electro Soft Technologies, Abell company, Pune. The MOU was done with the company. In this event 40 students have participated. They earned Rs. 2500-4000/- individually.
Online Forms The College students & alumni of the College participated in this event. The students filled up the admission form as the admission process was online. Also scholarship forms & the Mahaswayam Rojgar online forms of the SGBAU University were filled by the students. The computer & Printer were taken through earn & learn scheme.
2 Department of Physics Dr H J Kharat Cyber Security Awareness “Earn and learn’ scheme for ‘Cyber Security Awareness’ will be conducted in collaboration with ‘Quick Heal Technologies, Pune’, under MOU by the Department of Physics. Initially online examination of ‘Cyber Security Awareness’ will be conducted in the College and 30 students will be selected. Training workshops will be organized for the selected students in the college. These 30 students will give 150 presentations in various schools in Akola district and may earn Rs. 500/- per presentation.
